Cafe Trinidad

Cafe Trinidad is the first restaurant in Chicago that specializes in food from Trinidad and Tobago. Trinidadian food is unique in that it contains influences from several different countries, and therefore can just be categorized as "Caribbean" or "Jamaican" cuisine.  In an interview with ABC news the owner Darrel Hicks described his food by saying, "If you are looking for that cross between Indian, African and a creole base - you are going to get a great tasting food".  Trinidad offers an array of food anyone can enjoy, especially the international groups who can enjoy their native foods.
